What does healing from worry and anxiety look like? How can we find peace when God feels far off? How can we hear God like a close friend?

Join me and my new friend, Becky Thompson, as we dive deep into the voice of God, what it means to obey God in the craziest callings and her testimony of how God healed her from the anxiety that gripped her from childhood. Becky also shares the powerful lessons she's been learning during quarantine and how God is meeting her in the hardest of places.

We also chat about:

-The leap of faith that took her from quiet Oklahoma to the heart of L.A.

-The prayer group she started that now reaches millions of moms

-And why she had to talk to her neighbor "Fred" like a toddler before our interview

Favorite quotes:

1. I feel like there's a moment in your life where you know God led you to it, you just might not have said it was the voice of God. You felt directed, but you wouldn’t have said God spoke. If we can begin to attribute those leadings as a voice of the Father who loves us, then all those other moments become visible that might not have been visible before.

2. I think God is so much closer than the average woman, the average powerhouse Christian woman-love-Jesus-her-whole-life remembers that He is. He is right here and He wants to talk to you.

3. I think at the end of the day, it comes down to the hallway between where you want to be and where you currently are, and hearing the voice of God saying, “I am here, you're okay,” and letting that be enough.

During coaching time, I answer the question, “ How can I motivate myself to make changes in my life?” (46:09)
